Pricing & booking

1. How much does it cost to stay at Quiet Home Terracina Apartments?

Rates vary by season, length of stay and apartment. Use our booking engine to simulate your dates and get the exact total, or contact us for special requests. Prices can start from around €60/night in low season.

2. Do rates differ between Twins 1, Twins 2 and Milky Way?

Yes. Twins 1 and Twins 2 are similarly priced; Milky Way is larger (up to 7 guests) and generally costs more.

3. Is the final cleaning included?

Final cleaning is a mandatory add-on charged on top of the nightly total. Optional extras (mid-stay cleaning, linen change) are available on request.

4. Do you require a deposit or a security deposit?

We usually do not require a security deposit. Sometimes platforms display one as a deterrent for under-23 bookings.

5. Is it better to book direct or via OTAs (Booking/Airbnb)?

Direct booking means faster communication, more flexibility and often better value. OTAs typically apply standard rules and conditions.

6. Can I cancel for free?

Yes, if you are within the cancellation window, generally up to 30 days before arrival (depending on the selected rate).

7. How do refunds work in case of cancellation?

If you booked a flexible rate, refunds follow the terms selected at booking. For direct bookings, in some cases we may not even request an advance payment.

8. Do I get discounts for booking far in advance?

In some periods we offer early-booking or long-stay discounts. Contact us and we’ll propose the best option.

9. Do you offer weekly / long-stay / low-season discounts?

Yes, dedicated long-stay and low-season rates are possible.

10. Can I pay on arrival?

We accept the methods shown during booking; paying on arrival can be possible, especially for last-minute stays.

11. Where exactly are the apartments located?

We are in a central, quiet residential area of Terracina, convenient for the beach, shops and essential services. Address: Via Generale Armando Diaz 7.

12. How far are you from the beach and the historic center?

Just a few minutes on foot from the seafront and the city center—perfect for moving around without a car.

13. Is the area quiet?

Yes. “Quiet Home” reflects our focus on comfort and peace. We ask guests to respect quiet hours in the evening.

14. Can I reach supermarkets and restaurants on foot?

Yes, markets, cafés and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

15. How do I get there from the train station?

Taxis and local buses connect the station quickly to the city. Buses from Monte San Biagio – Terracina Mare station stop in the center; from there it’s a short walk to us.

16. Is public transport convenient?

Yes, the area is served by city buses and taxis. For exploring the surroundings, a car, bike or scooter is helpful.

17. How far are Rome and Naples?

Terracina sits roughly halfway between them. You can reach either city in about 1.5–2 hours depending on traffic and transportation.

18. Are there connections to the Pontine Islands?

From Terracina’s port there are seasonal connections and excursions to Ponza and other islands (availability depends on the season).

19. Are there nearby buses/shuttles to the beach?

Yes, there are useful stops nearby. In summer the city often increases service frequency with an urban shuttle.

20. Do you offer private transfers?

We can help organize private transfers on request with local partners. We also have access to a fleet of 4 shuttles for our guests.

21. Is the Wi-Fi fast?

Yes. We use an aggregated connection across 3 lines (1 FTTC + 2 mobile) for high performance and stability.

22. Is it suitable for remote work and video calls?

Absolutely. Our network is designed for remote work, with automatic failover and excellent continuity.

23. Do you have Smart TVs and streaming services?

Yes: Netflix, Prime Video and Paramount+ are available on our Smart TVs.

24. What’s included in the kitchen?

A fully equipped kitchen: cooktop, oven, fridge, utensils and dishes, dishwasher, coffee machine—perfect for self-catering.

25. Do you have air conditioning and heating?

Yes, all apartments have summer A/C and heating for colder months.

26. Do you have a washing machine and dryer?

Yes. A washer and dryer are available in the shared laundry room in the garden shared by Twins 1 and Twins 2.

27. Is the apartment accessible for reduced mobility?

Some spaces are more suitable than others. Contact us so we can evaluate your specific needs (steps, elevators, widths).

28. Do you provide cribs or high chairs for children?

Available on request, subject to availability.

29. Are outdoor spaces private or shared?

Twins 1 and Twins 2 share access to the garden; Milky Way has a private balcony.

30. Are the apartments comfortable in winter too?

Yes, with heating and the right amenities, they work well year-round.

31. What can I do in Terracina?

Beach days, historic center, archaeology (Temple of Jupiter Anxur), outdoor sports and great local food—Terracina is an ideal base to explore the “Riviera di Ulisse”.

32. Do you organize boat trips or excursions to the islands?

We can connect you with local operators for boat trips and excursions to Ponza and nearby areas.

33. Are there hiking trails and nature nearby?

Yes: Circeo National Park, Monte Sant’Angelo and panoramic trails close by. Campo Soriano’s karst area is well-known internationally and mapped by CAI trails.

34. Water sports in the area?

Surfski, kayaking, SUP, sailing and snorkeling are easy to access via local beach clubs and schools.

35. Events and festivals during the year?

Summer is full of festivals and markets; spring/autumn also bring traditional events and food & wine experiences.

36. Food & wine tours and wineries?

Tours and tastings in the Pontine area can be arranged—ask us for recommendations.

37. Best day trips from Terracina?

Sperlonga, Gaeta, Fondi, Sabaudia, Sermoneta, Ninfa (famous gardens), Montecassino Abbey—plus Rome and Naples for a bigger trip.

38. Best and quieter beaches?

There are free beach sections and private beach clubs. We can suggest less crowded spots depending on the season.

39. Do you have agreements with beach clubs?

We can recommend trusted beach clubs and partner options.

40. Can I rent bikes or scooters?

Yes, there are dedicated rentals in town. We can point you to the most convenient ones.

41. Where can I park?

Street parking is available in nearby streets. In high season we recommend arriving in the afternoon for easier parking.

42. Do you have private parking?

We do not have dedicated on-site spots. We will suggest convenient areas nearby.

43. How does check-in work?

We offer self check-in with digital code locks and clear instructions sent before arrival by email (including access codes). A human concierge is typically available if needed.

44. Late arrival: can I still enter?

Yes. With self check-in you can access the apartment even late at night.

45. Can I store luggage before check-in or after check-out?

If possible, we can offer temporary luggage storage. We are organized for this—just ask.

46. Emergency contact?

We provide a phone/WhatsApp contact for quick assistance throughout your stay.

47. Is smoking allowed?

No, smoking is not allowed indoors. It is only permitted in designated outdoor areas and with respect for other guests.

48. Are pets allowed?

No, we do not accept pets. Exceptions may be considered in special cases—contact our concierge.

49. Is the area safe at night?

Yes, it’s a quiet residential neighborhood. Standard common-sense precautions still apply.

Connectivity & tech for digital nomads

51. What is the real internet speed?

With our aggregated multi-line setup we can reach up to 500 Mbit/s download and 130+ Mbit/s upload, great for video calls, work VPNs and heavy cloud uploads.

52. Can I use my own VPN?

Yes. It’s not strictly necessary: traffic is already routed through an encrypted tunnel to our remote VM that handles MultiTCP aggregation, improving privacy and keeping a stable Italian IP.

53. Is the connection secure?

Yes. We use a dedicated hardware firewall and end-to-end encryption up to our remote node, with periodic updates and checks to maintain high security standards.

54. Do you have a public static IP?

Yes, we provide a public static IP, useful for remote desktop, corporate whitelists and professional services.

55. Can I have a dedicated virtual machine (VM)?

Yes. On request we can provide a dedicated VM on our servers (tailored for remote work, testing or backups). This is mainly for business or long-stay guests.

56. Do you offer long-stay discounts for remote workers?

Yes, we offer progressive discounts for longer stays. Contact us for a personalized proposal based on duration and needs.

57. Can I manage access with my smartphone?

Yes. We use TTLock smart locks with an app and temporary codes for secure 24/7 contactless access.

58. Are streaming services already active?

Yes: Netflix, Prime Video and Paramount+ are already set up on our Smart TVs.

59. Do you have an AI assistant on WhatsApp?

Yes. Our WhatsApp AI assistant provides quick information, tech support and local tips 24/7.

60. What cybersecurity measures do you take?

Dedicated firewall, encrypted tunnels to the remote node, updated policies and monitoring to prevent vulnerabilities and keep a high protection level.
